Privacy Policy

Overview

Lyteworks (“we”, “us”) provides AI integration services and a client dashboard at lyte.works and app.lyte.works. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our dashboard, and the integrations you choose to connect.

Information we collect

Contact information you submit through our forms — such as your name, email address, business name, and website URL — when you request an audit, book a call, or get in touch.

Account and dashboard data — the content, records, and configuration you create in your Lyteworks dashboard.

Usage data — standard analytics about how our website is used (pages visited, referrers, approximate location from IP). We use this to improve the site, not to build advertising profiles.

Connected-service data — data accessed from third-party services you explicitly connect (see the Google section below), used only to operate the features you connected them for.

How we use information

To provide and operate the services you request — running your dashboard, executing the work you ask for, and displaying your data back to you.

To respond to inquiries, deliver audits you request, and communicate about your projects.

To secure, maintain, and improve our services.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except service providers that host and operate our infrastructure (e.g. hosting, database, and email providers), and only as needed to run the service.

Google integrations

When you connect your Google account to Lyteworks from Settings → Connections, you grant Lyteworks access to your Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console on your behalf. We use this access only to: (a) create and configure analytics resources — a GA4 property, data stream, and Tag Manager container — in your Google account at your explicit request; and (b) read your analytics and search-performance data to display it in your Lyteworks dashboard and inform the work you ask us to do.

We request the minimum scopes needed for these features. Access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are used solely to operate the features above. We do not sell data obtained through Google APIs, do not share it with third parties, do not transfer it except as necessary to provide the features you requested, and do not use Google user data for advertising.

You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Connections in your Lyteworks dashboard. Disconnecting revokes the tokens with Google and deletes them from our systems; resources we created in your Google account remain yours.

Lyteworks’ use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data security

We use encrypted connections (TLS) for data in transit, encryption at rest for stored credentials and integration tokens, and role-based access controls that scope each client’s data to their own dashboard. Access to production systems is limited to what operating the service requires.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as you have an active relationship with us or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us; we will delete it except where we are required to retain it (e.g. billing records). Disconnecting an integration deletes its stored tokens immediately.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after a change means the updated policy applies.
